Hi,
Can someone help me understand this. I am fillign up the word doc on the computer and then plan to take the printouts.
For the Post Grad. It says Marks Obtained in 1st Year, 2nd Year. Mine was MCA and we followed CGPA there.I intend to do the following :
Change the 1st year to 1st Sem , 2nd Year to 2nd Sem and add 4 more rows for 3rd to 6th Sems. For Max. Marks I will write 10 and for Marks Obtained I will write the Sem wise GPA. And in total I will write the cumulative CGPA. For Subjects I am writing 2-3 subjects for the respective semester in the respective rows.
Can some one tell me if this is ok and acceptable ?
Pls help. Am kinda confused here.
Many Thanks.
- Best Regards,
Girish Malik

Hi puys,
A small question on the app. Unlike other appications, there is no provision to enter Job responsibilities / Job achievements in the app. Section D says Additional Information. Can you please advise what to use this section for - Job responsibilities/Job achievements/awards/extra curriculars/ interests etc.
Will appreciate the response.
Many Thanks.
- Best Regards,
Girish Malik

It should be fine. Instead of adding so many rows for semesters, make it for 3 years of your MCA. Write your GPA for 2 semesters for that year in the GPA column. This would reduce the clutter. Do change the column/row headings to reflect that content represent GPA and not percent marks.
Thanks.

Yes, you can use this space for whatever info you think is your strength and can help you differentiate from other applicants.

Thanks. I agree with the idea of reducing clutter and also renaming the column/row headings . But I think having 2 GPAs(comma separated) listed under Max. Marks/ Max. GPA and then 2 GPAs(comma separated) listed under Marks/GPA Obtained will actually mislead a bit.
Hence the inclination to keep it at 6 rows and detail out the GPAs. That way the cumulative CGPA also looks apt at the bottom.
Pls. do let me know What do you think ?
Thanks.

Thanks thecrab.
I am not sure what to write. I mean it sounds like out of the blue to be honest. I have worked with 2 organizations so far including the current one. So mentioning about the job achievements will have to be detailed to explain the context. For Extra Curriculars again, am not able to think of how to start (the introduction) the description and then go on to details.
Any suggestions?
- Thanks.

I think taking an average of 2 semesters GPA should solve the purpose. Adcom in anyway is going to verify your marksheets etc at the time of interview. So, don't sweat too much on this. I personally used the avg. format last year, and didn't face any issues. Thanks.

Think hard and I am sure you will come up with something. Point is don't waste the space provided to you by not writing anything.
