Re: US vs a non-US MBA - 01-10-2009, 11:58 PM

I will be a 2010 passout BTech in Computer Science.
My qualities:

1) Been the CR of class
2) president of the CSI(Computer Society of India) student branch in my college
3) chief organizer of a fest in my college.
4) Taken seminars in the college and other colleges
5) maintain website of our department
6) A member of FSF (Free Software Foundation)
7) I maintain a blog of my own
Took the responsibility of converting one of the computer labs of our college totally powered by Debian and later on to Ubuntu Hardy Heron.

9) Third in class
10) received First prize twice in quiz competitions

These are some of my qualities....

I dont have any work experience at the max i can get a 1year experience as i will write GMAT in next may...but i can't wait to get a work experience as i need 2 finish my MBA as soon as possible..and headstart on my career....

So if ther's any advice if my scores can compensate for work experience and the strategy for getting a fee waiver...i would be really thankful....
