Can anyone share some info about the loans.. , does any other bank has special schemes for IIMC?
Can SBI scholar loan be taken at place of residence instead of SBI branch at IIMC?

Does anybody has any idea whether SBI insists on a co-applicant (as guarantee) for SBI scholar scheme?
HDFC bank has a education loan scheme for IIM's, they dont ask for collateral/Third Party Guarantee. But they insist on Lien On Certificate and Transcripts.

Hi pgpm4me,

What learnt from the past PGPX batch is that if the entire class approaches the bank collectively, then a good bargain on waiver, interest rate, etc. is entertained by the bank. I presume this should be true even for PGPEX.

Hi all,
Congrats to all selected Candidates for IIM-C!

I am OUT of PGPEX. I have been a silent spectator of this thread. Feel sorry for that. For me the i/v went quiet well. There were no cross questioning and they seemed convinced about my answers and the i/v also ended very positive. Still I could not get what makes or breaks the entry.I thought my profile would bring good diversity in the class.

Guys, please consider second list and third list candidates also, while bargaining for loans. Otherwise these guys will be left behind in the process.

Also from my friend, who is now a student of PGPEX, I got an information that last year, IIM-C has offered admission for around 15 candidates in two lists. So dont lose heart. Something better is waiting for you.
