May we know the source of the ranking please? IIMC PGPEX first batch has not yet been placed. Hence I am not sure how it was ranked on placements and ROI.

Where did u get these rankings? Dont mislead people with Ur own standards.

Many Magazines themselves use different parameters to rank and still are not able to rank properly.

and going by ROI and Placements, ISB lags IIMA for the simple reason that, ISB average is 15L whereas IIMA's is 24.5.
ROI : ISB fees: 13.5 and IIMA : 10L
Now u calculate ROI

IIMC is yet to go for placements. It charges v low fee of 8L.

PLEASE DONT MISLEAD PEOPLE.

Which is better option for doing 1 yr MBA from below colleges.

1) To spend 15 lakh on SP jain Spore-DUbai MBA
2) TO spend 8 lakhs on Great Lakes.
3) To spend 16 lakh on ISB
4)Hult (Dunno the amout)
5)NUS 15 lakh
6)Univ Of CIncinnati- 10-12 lakhs
7)Univ Of Pittsburgh-10-12 akh

PL feel free to add on the list . this is the list for doin 1 yr MBA.
Depeding upon the ROi, an Indian MBA would be better than a US or vice versa.
Please throw sum light on all skool listed above

Thanks & Regards

Re: 1 year MBA options - 12-06-2007, 12:35 AM

There is another option in the US...it has a one yr option for people without undergrad business degree. also the pittsburg katz one yr fee u mention is wrong..the one year fee is $50,000..thats around 20lakhs just tuition. amongst ur US list cincinatti and Hult are not ranked high. pittsburg and thunderbird are well ranked. depends on where u want to work...aftre the indian mbas there is no way u can work in the US..if working in US is aim then obviously a ranked US school makes sense..thats my view..u get a one year work permit(OPT visa) after going an mba in USA....as in u can work on student visa....no need to file for any work permit..its a right as in automatic...also from wht i have found out the US MBA is acceptable in the GULF for decent jobs too.
