I got the interview call with purely my own essays and own application,, according to me you should write your own essays hwoever u can get them reviewed from your friends or colleagues etc .. i dont think essay writing/editing services add much value to it (only my opinion!!!)..... and I think many many people have written their own essays.. and they have got the calls.

Then again this is just my opinion.. coz I found isb esssays pretty straight FW and the idea to address them is "just be TO the point" .. also then again it depends how comfortable you are with the articulating essays as the word limit is dangerously low for 3rd essay.. I am pretty comfortable so I went ahead drafting my own essays.
But I know quiet a few people who have taken the help of professional services for editing and please make sure you write your own essays.. ISB or for that matte any B-Schools are pretty good and will come to know whether you have written your won essays or not.

Waiting is a trap. There will always be reasons to WAIT. The truth is, there are only two things in life, reasons and results, and reasons simply don't count.
Those who think its right around the corner, prepare for the i/v. You may not have much time. Good luck everyone!
Totally agree. Found this to my bad luck :(

There are two aspects to writing essays -

1. understanding what you want to say
2. presenting the content in a crisp and clear manner

The first aspect can come only from you. You have to sit, brainstorm and decide what you want to write. How you want to write - that is something you can take help for. All professional services would (and should) only help you with the second aspect.

If you are done with the first part, maybe you still have time to take professional help. I presume that you could get good feedback within 3-4 days. As for me, I got my essays reviewed by a couple of journalist friends who write for a living.

Please clarify if anybody has any idea.

thanks
all the info is present on the ISB site Dunns...they've also put up a partial list of companies which came last year.......in all fairness the downturn has it all b-schools and majority of the candidates don't get placed coz they have inflated expectations and are really not willin to settle for a lower package even durin the downturn......

well ATB for the puys who've received their IV calls..........ace the damn IV guyz.....and by the looks of it more than 70% of the puys have got calls which is pretty impressive.......and i'm sure there is a small % of puys who have not updated the spreadsheet after they received the IV....... so overall great going

lets hope the entire batch gets through......

Going by your stat and active puys being a reflection of all those who have applied....70% of 1700 will be 1200....so 300 out of 1200 ...4:1 ratio....tough fight it is.....hmmmmm....
