Since the time we have seems to be ephemeral, I take this opprtunity without wasting any time to start this thread and discuss among ourselves and with the seniors about everything about the GD/PI at AIM.

I think all call getters can post small intro on this thread and mention about whether ur applying for MBA or MM. This way we can get idea about no. of short listed candidates.

Shortlisted for MBA 09
Currently working with Siemens PLM software, Pune.
Have worked for 2 yrs with Siemens and prior to this worked for MnM, Nasik for 2 yrs.

Hi Guys,

ATB to all who got selected..........rather than profile sharing we should share fruitful post concerened to GD/PI.

The points which I delved to get:-

The dressing sense:- Suit + tie / gals no ideas
-> A few of the candidates last year were grilled abt why u havent wear tie or suit isn't u feel like u shld be in complete formal or have corporate sense.

The last year Gd topic:-

1) A japanese guy went for a company sponsored mba to US but couldn't follow the accent nor the terminology. what should he do???

2) Your team had a mishap and you have a choice of items like matchbox, water, food, blankets, torch, magnetic compass etc. etc.
-Each sub-group has to prioritize or rank the items according to their importance to achieve the goal-'Survival'.

3) Draw a diagram representing our career in coming 5-10 years without writing anything on it.

Know more ur mates so that we can behave in group well rather than making fish market.

Hi Ram,

Last year when I appeared for the GD-PI..........I was one of those candidates who didn't wear the tie-suit..... and a handful more of such kind were there.

And the second case study was what our group had got......

I will write about all these things...just wait till tomorrow......
