Congrats first of all to all the admitted students. I am in touch with a few of you already.

Phew! Finally an admit! I thought I will document my admission experience so that in future applicants can hope till the end.
So here is the timeline of events -
submitted my app in R1 on 11/2/08
waitlisted from 12/8/08
invited for interview on 6/3/09
interviewed on 6/17/09
got a thank u card from interviewer on 6/19/09 (tht was a positive sign)
got an admit on 7/28/09

A long admissions process where I gave up hope many times...but in the end I am glad it worked. Now I wait for the admissions package...
