I appliec for EA as well from India though but no interview call yet how ever the last date for interview is 1st nov which is now over nothing much that i can do there so i think i will now have to wait only for the d day 14th nov

Yeah dude... Did anyone from India got a call for Alumni interview? I too applied for EA round. And even I didn't have an interview.

You are right. The last date for intv is Nov 1. However, since Duke first assigned me an Alum in SFO and I was unable to visit SFO because of work schedule. I takled to the Duke and they readily agreed to re-schedule me in Minneapolis and also extended the date by a week.

I have not seen such friendly response for any other B-school I have interacted with. EA round application suggests I was already sold to Duke but this transaction furthers my interest in Duke.

However, it seems unlikely that they will schedule applicants in India for an Intv now. Gud luck to all and I hope I get some brownie points from my intv...

Hi Guys,

I am an Indian applicant and applied in EA as well. I called up Duke and asked them if they has sent out the alumni interview invites. They are saying that if you have not got a reply by now then it's probably because they were unavailable. The only thing is that till now on any of the forums I have not come across anyone in India who has gotten an interview invite. More so, I had received an Email from Ad Com that my application is complete on wednessday. This happened after I had sent a scanned copy of my degree (on last Monday) as the ad com could not find my degree information on my transcript and had mailed me to provide them with the degree. So guys I am totally confused. Interview invites in India anyone ?

Even I called up Duke!!...In vain..lol..same replies

Lets C they say interview is not a must..So hope for the best..Insah Allah!

Wishful thinking I'd say. I am in the same boat too..
Generally, if your profile is impeccable, then they would not require an interview. I can't say that about mine, so right now I'm taking "No interview call" as a "Ding". :frown:

Don't lose heart Chipzip.. I am an R1 applicant . But I have not been able to locate any (except the one listed abv) guy on any forum, who has recvd a call yet.. (And I am talking abt EA applicants only; for R1 applicants, it'll be a longer wait :( )I agree that the decision deadline is mid-Nov, but with the surge in apps this time, i guess this might be affected..
