I guess no one knows the result until the judgement day.
Well... Hoping for the best...

Things are getting tougher and tougher... As many companies
lay off a record number of people, the competition for MBA school
is more blood-vashing than ever.

Well... Certainly, this is not a great year to apply for MBA program.

Just hoping for the best... what else can we do after the submission
of application..?

But the best will still get through. Lets not get bogged down by competition. Lets try to bring our best in the applications and stay tuned and positive...

Hi Gaurav,

My apologies for not having shared my interview exp on time

I had my interview on 2nd at around 10 O'clock in the night and since then have been traveling a lot. Anyway, for what its worth, my interview went fine..usual why MBA, why DUKE standard questions. Only thing I would suggest to people applying in next round is to know your resume very well, don't write anything that u can't backup. I had written "organizing coastal biking trips" as one of my other interests and my interviewer actually asked me to talk about the routes and places/beaches of maharashtra. Apart from that, there were around 10 team based general questions...no surprises, given the Duke's stress on its collaborative culture.

Luckily, My interviewer had lot of professional exp in my target industry and we talked about it for around 20 mins after the interview. I dont know whether it would help but it certainly helped to show him my passion and seriousness for my career goals :gunsmilie:

I am dying to know my result now!!! I didn't get time to even think about it in last two weeks, but the moment I landed in India it all came over to me. anyway its still 3 more days to go....

Guys,

Me an R1 applicant, and still no news from Duke.

Please tell me, is it that we need to schedule the interview ourselves, or is it only through invitation from the college?

What was your general experience?

Only on-campus interview is available for self-scheduling. Other types of interview are invitation only... I guess you may find more information about the interview at Fuqua's web pages and in the application that you need to specify the type of interview you wish to have...

Based on respective school's tieups, typically (Class of 2011 apart), students are able to get loans upto ~ 140k from US financial institutions. Then its upto you to use what portion of this money.

ATB for results tomorrow!!
