Hi quizophobic,
The application complete mail is just a formality. It basically means that your file has reached the review committee. So you could get the interview call anytime after that.

Bit of myself:

I was an Early round applicant. It seems they reviewed my application bit late in the process. They extended deadline for my application decision by a week to 21st. I gave interview on 17th and got the admission decision on 20th.

Interview:
interview went pretty good though i fumbled on few questions..but otherwise everything was normal and the interviewer was a lady from admission office. She was very friendly.
I don't think i need to put interview questions as all of them are standard questions. Please send me a PM if any of the interview invitees want to talk more about interview etc..

My Profile:
730/5.5, Excellent Acads, good community service and not much in extra-curricular stuff..

Hope my post helps you..

In the Duke's website it is written that loans without co-signor is available for International students. Either the info on the website is outdated or you may have misunderstood the information given in the admission packet. Correct me if I am wrong. Check out the link:

Can you please PM me the interview questions that you were asked? I am unable to sent PM to you, there seems to be some problem. I have my interview tomorrow.

Their finaid page is indeed outdated. The latest situation is that they are still undecided, which means no loans as of now.. Just pray that they come up with a solution..

Latest issue of the Imact@Duke says so too:

@samsin -
1) Earlier on FinAid page, there used to be a link : Int'l w/o co-signer, the link stands disabled now.
2) If you call FinAid, they say "We may (not shall) provide loan w/o cosigner to int'l applicants".
3) My admission packet says "No loan to int'l w/o U.S. co-signer".
4) Sally Mae says they might still give w/o co-signer but the applicant must have excellent credit history in U.S.

So fingers crossed.

@Venkat - Man, congrates, you made Duke extend their deadline

@ quizophobic - thanks for the link. I reside here but am still finding it difficult to get hold of FinAid, today the entire Duke univ server was down.
