Yes I received it. I think, it's a standand procedure. Do not loose hope. You never know what is going to come.....

Hi quizophobic,

Even I am in the same boat. I applied in R1 and got an application complete email. Somebody posted earlier that R1 invites have already been sent. But from v2011 it seems that the process is still going on.

However, I had applied last year also and was waitlisted. I interviewd in april 2008. So dont know if they will interview me again or use the same interview for reference.

EA admits, can anyone of you help - did anyone get through without an interview or had a similar case as of mine.

I am getting conflicting views on the "App complete" mail..

The inquizitive says that the mail means no interview invite
But I heard from one of the last year's applicants that he got his interview invite after this mail.. (Precisely, App complete on Jan29, Interview invite on Feb5)

So are we still in the race??

Can Any of the EA winners confirm this? Did u get the "app complete" mail before u got the interview invite?

This waiting thing is driving me crazy!! I am yet to hear anything from the three schools that I hav apped to..

App complete mail is a formality which everyone receives. You can still get an interview invite. That said, my interview was self-initiated.
I guess Venkat (venku_kop) can throw more light on this.
