I received a "application complete" email from Duke today which told me that i will receive notification of an admission decision by December 19, 2008. I have applied for a alumni interview but the email doesnt mention anything about it. What does this mean?? Is it a good idea to call/email them asking them specifically about it?

CALLING ALL DUKE 2009 ADMITS

First of all congratulations for getting the admit. All of us have done a great job. But journey is not over .
As you know because of financial crisis bschools are experiencing difficulties in giving loans to international students . I am one of those international students who wouldn't be able to attend the school if I do not get a loan without cosigner.

Me and a fellow international admit have proposed that we create a group of international students so that we can form a common voice while communicating to duke regarding our concerns.

So I am calling all the duke international admits who think they are affected by this situation to send me an email on vishalchopra@hotmail.com.

I got the same mail today.. I too had requested an alum interview..
I guess this just refers to the basic formalities being complete (Official GMAT score,transcripts, recos etc) and i do believe that the app is ready for review now...

EA applicants, did u get any such mail? Can smbdy who got an interview invite comment on this?

I'd rather wait for a conclusive stand from Duke on this (Loan without a cosignor). Unlike Ross, which has firmly stated that International students will need a cosignor, Duke is yet to commit on this. Though the International Student Loan link has been disabled on Duke's Fin Aid page, it has not been removed.

Congratulations to all the EA winners! I have applied to Duke in Round 1.
I got their mail regarding completion of my Round 1 application. I am expecting an interview call from Duke. Did any Puy apply for their healthcare management program?
