hi Puys,

I have been accepted to the IPMX program.
I also have a GD/PI call from Great Lakes,Chennai.

I have a diff time picking a school of the two as both programs are 1 yr programs.Could you guys share your opinion on these 2 programs so I can make an informed decision.

I'm an IT professional with 7 yrs of work-ex.

With 7 yrs experience there is really nothing to consider- IPMX.
With 3 yrs- Suits GLIMS but well, ipmx will not consider the candidate.

Tell you what, GLIMS was great when it started off. However, it remained (stagnated) where it started and others just raced past. And I say this not just from an outside view; couple of my juniors / friends are on GLIMS interview panel. And don;t get me worng when I say it WAS great- it's still good but has lost the status it had 3 yrs back.

And finally, if u r from chennai and that is where ur heart is: go for GLIMS.

Not a issue, sec 62 is close to my office, Kabhi Beer peene ke bahane tumse milne aayenge Crab Bhaijaan, Tab gyaan de dena...need to apply next year
