congratulations to all for the admit,
When i spoke to a current student in December first week, he said placements would start by Jan. The pre placement talks had started until then and things looked positive. But after that the media report came in about IPMX I, so I am not really sure how it is going to be.
One thing that I can say is that placements have been affected to a substantial degree even at IIMC. Although the numbers wont tell the entire story but some people from the current batch of PGPEX have not got offers to their satisfaction. But overall, I think you should look to benefit from the program in about 5-10 years timeframe. IIM brand is very big in India and Asia.
