[quote=thecrab2000;1303658]mukki bhai...mana aapka ISB mein admit hai..par iska matlab yeh nahin ki doosre college ki dhajjiyan udaao without proper information. First of all International immersion at IIML is not 3 months its just 3-4 weeks. Also, apart from 12L fees at IIML, one have to pay his living costs for 3-4 weeks in Montreal, Canada which on a sharing basis should not cross more than $1000 per head including food. So, total cost comes out to be 12.5L, which is still pretty less compared to ~20L charged by IIMA,B and ISB.
ARE CRAB BABU ,
IIML -NC to bakunth hai , or baiunth ki me kaise burai kar sakta hoo,
waise bekuth thoda jyada costly hota hai .
galti ke liye mafi CRAB JI ,
LONG LIVE IIML-NC

Chalo hum kisi ke kaam to aaye
GD = written ability test; topic same as 15/Dec pre-lunch group topic.
Just as the guys in 15/Dec post-lunch group started their WA test, I opened the room door and the full 7-8 gus looked back towards me (i was palmost completely hideen behind door).
One of the panelist came out to talk to me.
So if you were post-lunch guy, I am the one to give you a respite from the frowns you all had while writing (or about to write) on the topic.
BTW, my HMATC prev exp says that around 60-70% ppl interviewed with me actually get an offer (and I get a ding).

I decided to write this post (well, the crux of it) in hindi coz I could not find an equally impactful word in Englist (bhai, Translation mein you loose more than the meaning).
Muks, by virtue of being selected for ISB and having been shortlisted for other schools....you do not have any right to.... :snipersm:
Basically jo tum kar rahey ho usko hindi mein 'chok lena' boltey hain.
Gareebon ki chok logey, to hai lagegi.
And gareebon ki hai tou you know how impactful is, right?

Mukki bhaiyya thnx for confirming the date ....
the wait till 6-7 looks like eternity ...
and considering dat my ISB location is Kolkata,
seems like there is a lot of waiting in store for me ...
To be honest, I would it easier to conc on d isb i/v prep and mental
conditioning once dis is out of the way...
A ding would probably stir me into action again .....!!
neways bahut doha-baji ho rahi thread par ....
reflects d relaxed state of mind of the 'An Admit-in-pocket Puys'...
keep it coming

Mukesh dost, I've been thinking whether I need a job in which I can have virtually all the time to kill on public forums and still draw the high salary that I expect. Probably, I'm not qualified enough to get such a job; someone on this forum has already declared this, so no need to look further. In the meantime I also attended my IIM-L interview.
It was a very good experience. They remembered that I had the admission last year. We discussed my plans after IPMX. The interviewer rightly pointed out that my industry still doesn't have many opportunities in India. So, need to use my contacts all over to find myself a suitable position ( not looking to become a center head or anything like that ). We also discussed how I strengthened my profile this year. All and all, it was more of a chitchat than a grueling interview. The interviewers were cordial and knew what they wanted to know more about me. I'm not sure whether I will get in or not, but I have no regrets at this point other than my GMAT score.
Now, we all wait...
