Re: IIM Lucknow-Noida Campus IPMX-II : Admission process and beyond-2009-2010 -

I had mine at Blore yday...Not a grt experience if I might say so!
The profs seemed more interested in my papers digging out dates and matching them withe the exp letters than with asking me Qs. I got a feeling that they were not impressed tht I had only 4 years of 'managerial' workex and belittled my previous ops exp. And there were no Qs on the program, career goals etc. So, I guess they conveyed their msg clearly on how keen they were on my profile...No regrets...I'm sure theres something better waiting for me :-)

Are you for real man ? You found that comment disconnected ?? I hate to respond in such callous language but you just stunned me with your intellectual inferiority !! It is called 'Open Competition'. Lets try and learn to pay attention to the language that all of us have agreed upon. Don't knock at me but I have got no other way left to tackle with people like you who choose to live in a bubble. Whenever a single bump or ruffle comes into the little fantasy world that you have created around your head, you imagine holding a fabricated weighing scale of morality in your hand and come screaming like a pansy chief justice.... Crab acknowledged the PM and understood where I was coming from. Respond to the PM if my reasoning hasn't penetrated into your thick brain-membrane or continue working on this tasteless advertisement of your helplessness on a public forum, but don't involve me- Choice is yours.

The issue is public, so no need to discuss it on a PM. You claim that you are a center head of some organization. Well, you choose to manage your time, but the center heads I know of are always short of time. You find time to go for an interview that you don't really care about. I'm not sure how you would tell the interview panel that you were there just to kill time, no even yours but theirs too... on top of that, you claim that they offered you food, tea, water, pakora, samosa and what not.. I and crab had a good laugh over it.. I like that you were trying to defend your actions.. so, you know that what you did was not right on your part.. because you claim that you told the interview panel not to put you in the final list shows that you yourself believe that whatever you did is not right..
i'm on your case not because i'm insecure. I thought that it's a good idea to let others know that you didn't keep your words.. I do want this admission like others do.. I had admission last year ( i think you couldn't get in, isn't it?) and I am hoping that I will get admission this year too.. If not, I will feel sad, but life doesn't stop there.. anyways, your actions will only delay things for people, not stop them from getting admitted..
You claim that you went to network with people..I hope you will also try to attend round 2 IIMB interviews in Delhi.. probably you will be able to netowrk with people.. quite possible that someone will offer you food when you meet them... talk about insecurity...
Your PM is appended below for everyone to see..

You and crab can have a good laugh about the whole thing again, but just get it sorted in your head that who'd be laughing at whom ? As far as me feeling wrong about my actions - Yes - I did, that's why I sent you guys a PM and that's why I was trying to defend the whole thing.
You paste a PM in the public forum and then you have the conceit to talk about morality in the same sentence. Have some pride in yourself for God sake !!! Stand in front of a mirror and practice the following sentence - "I am in no way inferior than jj_cale". I promise you'd feel better. If that doesn't help you ask crab to hit you in the head 30 or 40 times with a golf club, I am sure that'd get you moving with your life.

here you go again.. the center head found time to write on public forum once again.. don't worry about the people I'm going to study with. I can assure you that they can count on me and my words..
I know you don't understand morality.. Actually I feel for whoever you work for. Center head spending time on public forum is a big revenue loss for the company. You were out networking with people y'day, remember.. should be busy with the work........
You chose to PM me, I chose to answer it on public forum. This is my prerogative. You are not my dear one who I should have a private conversation with..
by the way, be sure of what you want to write.. updating your post shows how unstable and disturbed your mind is.. now you are getting really offensive. i hope you don't settle score with people with a golf club at work.. now, i really feel for people who you work with..

Going with recent IV experiences , looks like everyone got disappointed with the Bangalore panel . It looked as if they were not at all interested. Asking a 10 years exp IT about Agricultural Policy changes was ridiculous. I was tortured for why I was not serious for a missing H in my name in my 10th grade certificate.
I guess I am clearly out.
Anyway good part was meeting with some really nice folks..manish mba..

jj_cale and bharat_bharat are sent on 2 day vacation for indulging in personal attacks on the forum.
Everyone, please note that we do not encourage personal attacks on the forum . A user can always question someone else's point of view but the thin line in getting personal has to be definitely avoided. If you can't understand the difference , take it on PM's and not publicly.
Also, PM's mean "Private Message" and they should not be made public without the explicit permission from the sender. In cases like abuse or inappropriate language, they can always be forwarded to the mods/admins.
Let the sense prevail.
Cheers,
Rohit

I had my iv at Bangalore on 17th. I believe 9 out of 10 turned in. In my view the whole exercise seems to focus on your communication (Written & Oral) skills and nothing more.
The iv qns were generally on why MBA and about the company i work with.
Has anyone asked about, when the results would be announced?

I hope I am not too late, but I wore a formal shirt, but no tie or jacket. The interviewers at the other end were dressed similarly. And I wore Jeans but of course they could not see it since Webcam was showing only my upper body. I guess I could have been wearing a chaddi and they wouldn't know ...

Now with I think all the interviews over, the wait for the result begins. Good Luck to everyone. Hope to see you all at IIML-Noida next year.
