Had my interview today -

Dnt take pain abt gd thing , they will gv u a topic and ask you yo write something on it, we were gvn " terrorism" , yu might gt obama , bust , india , mannu bhai anything ,

My interview was 10-15 min afaier ,but feww guys had 30-40 min also

Haa make your that yiou fill your form , have your salry slips in place , form pe foto bhi hona chaiye , same jaisa waha bheja tha ,

abhi 2 guys will keep checking ur papers n he will gv approval , documents ok hai ,

now thired guy will start - queestion - why MBA , why IIML, post MBA, n work related general questions -

Few guys were asked, agricultural industry ,
banking schemes for agri ,
5 year plan , atleast remeber that its 11 th plan is going on ,

recent developments inbusiness , recesions were hot topics ,

GODEN WORDS - " PAPERS POORE PRPERLY RAKHNA , N FILL THAT CRAPY FORM FOR SURE. "

thanks for sharing ur exp. how many people were there for interview? any guess on how many they did intervew today?
did they know that u already have ISB admit... and did it affect the interview in any way?

where r other guys ? pls share ur experiences as well....

abe marwaega kya raja , ye sab bate waha nahi karte , unhone pocha nahi maine bataya nahi ,

there were total 9 ppl interviewd i the mng session , RK mba( iimc admit ) will be able to comment on the evening session

In the afternoon session, there were 6 people and the topic was "Economic recession - A crisis or an opportunity". I dont think there will be more than 100 people overall. In my batch, 4 people came from Govt. services, PSU and 2 were from IT. Questions mostly on your profile. Try to link the macro economic situation with your specific industry.

RK, do you have an admit from IIM-C. If you do, I'm sure you must have accepted it. Any reason you chose to attend this interview?

I also heard from someone in India that our little friend jjKale was also present in Noida campus. He told people that he was there to just meet other "highly qualified" people. He eventually went in for the interview, thus sabotaging the chances of one of those deserving people. This is contrary to what he told people on Pagalguy. Highly preposterous in my opinion. Can't these people find other ways to massage their egos?

Then your friend must have told you that jj_cale did not submit the documents, photos or photocopies that were asked along with the letter of invite and attended the whole thing without getting considered for the interview. Plus no one forced me to withdraw and no one forced me to attend it. Last I heard India was a free country to live in. Don't jump the gun. The whole thing would become preposterous if you find jj_cale's name in the list of selected candidates.

Yes, I have been selected at IIMC in the 2nd Round but I still have not got my letter of acceptance through post. Just to give you an example of how efficient our postal system is, till date I dont have the interview shortlist mail that was sent to all selected candidates from IIML. I didn't want to take any chances and that was why I went there. This was the last school I am applying this year and therefore, I didn't have many options left.
And buddy, I have been rejected by more than 1 school in the past and so you can never be sure what works and what does not. Your profile might just be better than mine and you or somebody else might be preferred over me in IIML, who knows? But please, dont start abusing people for that. Just my 2 cents.

iv was profile centered totally.. mine is SCM

what r recent developments in SCM ?
What is warehouse act
how many entities are involved in scm

u answer .. they cross quesion.. this goes on till u dont answer

they some general Q like Y MBA , Y not IIMA IIMC etc..

4 me all in all it was 20 min affair with me at receiving end

jj, these papers can be submitted even at the time of admission.. nobody is going to reject you just because you didn't submit these papers.. unless you specifically told the adcom not to consider you in the final list, you are in the race. India is a free country, all right, but that still doesn't explain what you did.. You spent all your time and energy just to make sure that you don't see yourself in the final list.. fabulous logic, but sorry, it's beyond my comprehension..

I understand what RK did.. RK, I will appreciate if you could let the IIM-L adcom know as soon as you receive your official letter from IIM-C. You know more than anyone else how agonising it is to wait for someone else to drop out so that you might be considered for the admission..

ymukesh, I haven't been interviewed yet. I will post my experience after my interview. I haven't added my profile to the list because I don't think it is going to make any difference to either you, I or someone else out here. We have less than 40 names out of more than 150 people shortlisted for the interview. one more missing name is not going to make any difference.

By the way, I was admitted to the first batch of IPMX and didn't join because of family reasons. I told the adcom as soon as I got to know that I would not be able to join. It's just ethical and fair to other applicants, since we all equally deserve these schools. Just because the schools think otherwise should not change this philosophy.
