ymukesh, I think they use this excuse to end the call. I was also told on Monday that they would speak with chairman and let me know. However, after that I have not recived any communication. I tried calling also but no one picked up the phone. So, I would say chances are very slim that they will do anything. You are dinged even before your interview and so do I.

Your guess is as good as mine. But I have seen in PGP forums that these guys give some time to write about the topic and then discuss your points at the time of GD. So going by that theory, as there was some 15 min case study topic given last year, I would presume that is what they mean by GD. They will give a management problem on which we can write our analysis and discuss the same at the time of GD.
Personally, I found this case study thing that was conducted last year very interesting. It is a nice way to test your management skill.

Is it humanely possible to do justice to the basic structure / format of a case study in 15 minutes?
Someone compared this to AWA - I am in disagreement. Case Study format was devised to be different from an essay (which AWA is).

ymukesh, I called them yesterday night ( US time) and the person said that they are going to have a meeting to discuss about these requests and he would mail me by end of his day. But I have not received any mails from him yet. So don't know what they have decided in their meeting. Have you heard anything back from the adcom ?

man... it was stupid.. n now its dirty.... d person answering d phone says u had paid 2000rs while international applicant shud pay 50$... so we cant change ur i/v pref.....

kin chu*** ko baitha diya hain... first they don't put a column for preferred i/v location in d form.. n then not ready to do any adjustments in i/v location....
