Just called up IPMX office after this in- NOT in-in fiasco: they said "Congratulations, you are shortlisted"! {What congratulations, they have now to trim around 65 - 70% shortlist}

Interview locations + date to be announced Monday.
Mumbai + Bang definitely i/v centers; pune definitely out === that's all I could extract.

And tell you what, they said I could have my i/v center in Bangalore

well, the (il)logic is that if ADCOM can take time off its academic load to conduct interviews, we can't be so busy that we can't even attend interview during a weekday. All of us get PTOs for urgent weekday work . This is the time to avail this important perk

PS : don't tell me that when you interviewed for your job, it was a weekend.

if you are sitting in US or a metro like Mumbai/Delhi or Bangalore then its very easy to take a day off and attend the interview . What about people who needs to make travel arrangements. For them its not just one day off . Well of course now its there ..its there..we have to make it.

PS: I got my job when I was jobless..so everyday was weekend then :happy:

I have just gone through the last year's IIML admits thread on pagalguy

Last year, candidates did not have any GD. It was just personal interviews.
When someone calls IIML NC next, could you please clarify on this. GD is not possible for international candidates atleast..How can they assure a uniform selection process in this case?

It's not just attending on weekday, you also gotta travel :-x

BTW, I have attended all my in-person job interviews on weekends and also claimed airfare / 2 AC fare :1eye:
