Hey Guys,
While browsing thru the IIMB website saw this ad about this new one year full time programme for Middle/Senior level managers.

Do you guys have any idea about this one? I mean in terms of the quality, ROI and stuff.

Do you guys think its gonna fall in the same league of programs offered by ISB, IIMA-PGPEX etc....

I shall be trying for a 1yr programme next yr in ISB,IIMA,IIMC or IIMB....yet to get a GMAT score.

Organisation- MNC (One of the best)
Acads- Okay
Extra Currics-Terrible :huh:

Aiming for a GMAT score of arnd 700+

But coming back to my primary question...Do u think this programme is gonna set the same standards at those of the likes of ISBs and IIMs.....:huh:

I learnt from reliable sources that the first cycle of IIMB one-year MBA programme will start by April- May 2009. It seems that fee together with other costs towards accomodation and immersion abroad will be in the same range as ISB and IIMA - about Rs. 18 to 20 Lakhs.
Those, who missed out the deadlines for IIMA or ISB etc.- watch for the IIMB one-year MBA ad - I am told it will come out with in a month or two.

I wonder whether Rs. 20 lakhs of fee and other expenses plus the loss of one year salary, is this programme worth it! How long will it take for us to recover our investment in such a programme? 5 years? 10 years?

Look out for the IIMB One-year PGP advertisement: the ad is expected to be published in 2 or 3 weeks, I gather.
Those who might have missed the deadlines for IIMA, IIMC PGP-X etc., this is a great opportunity.
The first cycle of this programme, says the Deep Throat, will start in April- May 2009.

The desired profile, according to reliable sources, is some what similar to IIM-A, PGP-X profile; applications of candidates with 9 to 10 years experience with 700+ GMAT score will be competitive, it appears.

Guys, all this is hear say; take all this with a pinch of salt.

Best of luck for all the guys/ gals aspiring to join the first batch of IIMB PGP-X or what ever else it is going to be called.

IIMB - One Year PGP seems to have set a minimum of 7 years work-ex. Check the link.

And if the total cost of 1-year MBA is gonna be 20 lakh, then the ROI needs to be doubted. Again, it's better to wait for the official announcement.
