I guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow to find out the status of my application. If anyone gets an invite, I'd also like to know what your profile looks like. I'm curious as to what it takes to get an invite from these institutions.

Hi Ppl..

My immediate boss at work just got a interview call from IIM-A..
Thot u ppl might be interested in his profile..
Gmat : 800 (hahaha.. I didnt even know that 800 is possible)..
WE: 4.5 yrs ..mostly in entrepreneural ventures...

His wife got a ding ...her profile..
gmat : 760.
WE: 2.5 yrs..

Anyways.. he has admits from LSB, Wharton, Stern and tepper..
got a ding from HBS (lower GPA)...
The guy is confused ...would mostly reject the IIM-A..!! He is awaiting some results from the colleges for his wife..
(U know this is the first time, I am seeing a guy who will be rejecting IIM-A..)

So were the emails inviting candidates for interviews sent out already? I'm guessing that means that I was probably rejected. Sigh ... Do they send out reject emails as well..... I guess they should at least get back to all applicants... right?

Why haven't I heard back yet, when people already have received admits and rejects? Ah well... the agony continues.

EDIT : Tried calling as well, but I guess its too late in the evening and its a Friday. Will have to wait for the mail to come in or call on Monday morning again I suppose.

Well Sandipan, I havent heard from them as well....we can hope while there is still hope. Probably they are deciding our fate right now, we cant be sure about anything.

Joe- Did you get invited for the PI only. What about the GD?

Joe/Pavitra- Can you please copy the text of your respective e-mails from IIMA. Sorry if you wonder why I am making such a strange request. Basically,I just want to check if their e-mails are standard accept/reject types or are they individualizing their responses.
