With IIMA increasing the CAT candidates' fees to 12 Lakhs, I think the NRI fee would be upwards of 25L. No?

Thanks

IIM A first year is $18K. The second year fees is not declared yet. I am assuming it will go up slightly, given that IIM C is $40K. But all together I am guessing even IIM A will be around $40K total.

Thanks puys, for the quick replies!
Now, I guess IIM/NRI and ISB fees are almost the same, and I think the gap in fee between NRIs and domestic students has come down, right?

From the IIMA website, it looks like they don't require any recommendation letters to be sent with the application?

Admission Procedure for Overseas Candidates

The PDF application document does not contain any templates for recommendation letters.

Do they only require the recommendation letters once we are called for the GD/PI?

You are correct. IIM A does not require any recommendations. I had the same confusion when I had applied, but it is, as far as I know, the only institute that doesn't require anything apart from your GMAT scores. Even the application has just a short blurb about your work ex, nothing else.

Could someone tell me what the confirmation fee is at an IIM? Do you have to pay the entire semesters fee to confirm your admission or can you pay this amount when you join?

It's not the entire semester's fees, but usually something of the order of $500. I am not sure whether or not this amount is refundable if the candidate in question chooses to withdraw. The entire semester's fees will be paid on the registration day.

Does IIMC accept only Academic recommendations? Thats what it looks like from the application.

Also, IIMA again doesn't seem to need the recommendation letters.
