It wont hurt to send, but its not required either.

I haven't sent it as they didn't ask for it.

Amit

HI - good work with the excel. I have not been waitlisted by IIM B as I do not think anyone has heard from them yet. Also, it would be impossible to receive a rejection by the same token. A column for interview date/location, university & degree should also be added to provide a fuller picture.
Thanks

Hey Amit, thats a cool job !

But as Sandipan pointed out (around 40 invites from IIM C with only 10 of us on PG) , I'm not sure what %age we constitute as applicants - a point in case - IIM C has 9 students in its present batch via GMAT though none of them had any presence on PG last year !!

Pls edit my details - GMAT 770, good acads, 5 yrs work ex, applied only to B and C.

A query - how did you arrive at rejects and waitlists for IIM B, as they are yet to send out any communication (I guess) ?

Hi Sandipan - in your communication with IIM B, they did mention that the 'admits' will be sent out directly by mid-March, didn't they ? Can't believe that they don't even conduct interviews !!

Hey Pagal..
Yes, this XLS would be a subset, i would say we can use this as an indicator. Like people with 750+ are atleast getting calls from all the IIM's or people below 740 are getting a straight reject from IIM A (Even 5 yrs of work ex is not helping). So ya, we can track the statics while keeping the limited data set condition in the mind. I think as the admission process goes on, more people will join (this links comes first on google search ), and we might even get to know future batchmates .. (Aamin!!)

IIM B updates were pure fault. Sorry for that.

Yes, IIM B will send the invites directly (and possibly waitlist as IIM-B would announce the result first, some people might go to IIM-A or IIM-C).

My Question1:- Do you guys think that selection through NRI side also depends on the performance by CAT candidates? For example, what if in 2008, only 3000 candidates fall in the 90%ile to 99%ile range. Would that trigger more selection through GMAT side. Do we know the CAT performance for this year?

Warm Regards,
Amit

Yeah. Final admission decisions for IIM B will be sent out around the 15th of March, give or take a few days. No interviews. IIM B has explained the process here ...

Everyone has been awfully quiet on this thread. It is disheartening to see it being pushed to page 3 of it's parent thread. Sigh...

Has anyone received the IIM Calcutta interview form yet? And best of luck to those with their IIM A interviews coming up soon.

Sandipan

Hi Amit,

Feel free to update your spreadsheet with my details.

I suppose I have good academics. I'm an alum of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I interview with IIM A in Delhi on the 8th of March and with IIM C in Mumbai on the 13th of March.
