I am starting a new thread. A new opportunity for peope having more than 5 years of work ex and good GMAT/CAT score looking for a FULL TIME ONE Year course from an IIM !

POST GRADUATE PROGRAMME IN MANAGEMENT FOR EXECUTIVES (Ex-PGP)

The Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (Ex-PGP) of IIM Indore, is a full-time 12-month programme uniquely designed to develop the potential of executives and entrepreneurs by providing them an opportunity to enhance their knowledge, skills and attitudes. Through an efficient modular design, combined with innovative assignments, team
projects and an international module, the Ex-PGP will enable participants to effectively deliver superior performance at theirworkplace.

Selection

The selection will be based on candidate’s academic record, scholastic achievements, performance in CAT/GMAT, personal interview and relevant work experience after graduation.

Program Structure and Curriculum

The 12-month programme consists of 5 terms. The first two terms have compulsory courses that act as building blocks for the subsequent terms. The programme initially focuses on building a broad foundation of theoretical knowledge about management through core modules covering various functional areas. During the later phases of the programme, the focus will be on specialisation through elective courses.
The international module in the last term will provide global exposure to the participants enhancing their capability to work effectively in multicultural environment.

Pedagogy

The pedagogy will be a judicious mix of lectures, case discussions, project work, term papers, role-play, seminar presentations,assignments, videos, management games, and simulations.

Award of Diploma

On successful completion of the programme, participants’ will be awarded the “Post Graduate Diploma in Management for Executives”

Programme Fees and Payment Schedule

The programme fee is Rs 11,00,000/-, which covers tuition, teaching materials, computer use, lodging and boarding duringthe residential period and expenses for the international module (travel, accommodation, board and tuition only). Personal expenses such as travel, clothing and laundry will have to be borne by the participant. Fee for NRI/ International candidate is US$ 35000. The fee is subject to revision.

What is the number of students they will be taking this time and can we apply with last year CAT score.....

Hi,

Here is what the CAT bulletin says.

"Candidates seeking admission to the 12–month Ex-PGP of IIM-Indore (2009-10 batch) either have to appear in the Common Admission Test (CAT 200 or submit their GMAT score. The GMAT score should have been obtained between August 1, 2005 and November 12, 2008.
IIM Indore will conduct admission interviews, for selection of candidates to Ex-PGP, in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata,Mumbai and New Delhi. Interviews may also be conducted in Dubai and Singapore. "

As per this, I think CAT 2007 score may not be valid for this. However, please wait for a separate announcement for the course in leading dailies.

As far as number of seats are concerned, I have no definitive information, but as per my understanding the batch size should be between 60 -80.
