GMAT Verbal Challenge Series - 29-04-2004, 10:43 PM

Hi PG and other guys

I wanted to know if we could start a verbal challenge series here. Guys have to time themselves for solving the question (one question per challenge) and the answers will be provided by me. The questions will be taken from our forums. Some of the questions are questions being developed by us. We have conducted both math and verbal challenges for some time now and we have got a good response.

I dont know whether guys need help with math, but we could do that too.

We might not get responses in the beginning, but we can try.

Let me know.

Sincerely
Aejaz

The verbal challenge is to let members practice with a clock. and since i hope many other members will participate, you guys can compare each others solutions and see whats the fastest. of course, this thing works only if members report accurate timings and are willing to discuss the questions.

1 . One question per challenge ( SC or CR ) we may include RC too.
2. you guys have 2minutes to solve
3. the only request is to post your work and not just answers. also, mention the time taken.

Let me know if this is fine with you all. I hope to see more members participate. It can be fun to discuss , especially the verbal section.

Hi Aejaz

It's a real nice idea to start the GMAT Verbal Challenge Section .. no doubt it will be useful to one and all irrespective of whether or not one is writing GMAT.

Hoping to see ur challenge very soon ...

With Warm Regards and Best Wishes

Nice Idea. I guess you should talk to PagalGuy and go ahead.

I would look ahead to this.

sounds interesting. I have a few grey areas in what is being said here, but no doubt, it will alll get clarified once the challenge actually starts.
