Sending an online application form would be the best bet, as that would reduce the paper work. You can also ask your recommender to have the reco's mailed to the address mention duely sealed in an envelope with sign across the closing borders (standard for any kind of recommendation)

Hi guys,

I have got admission to IE Business School.. I am right now searching for scholarships and other financial aids. Kindly help me out.

1. How much finance we will need - Tution + Living Expenses
2. I went through the scholarship page - Kindly tell me which alll scholarships we are eligible for
3. Are there any other external scholarships I can apply to apart from those offered by IE
4. How good are the placements at IE
5. How much time does the Visa Process take for Spain ?

Guys, kindly share your thoughts.

Kunal,

Please read the posts to understand about IE and post MBA situations. Best is people share their experiences and if I can find any pointers then will post accordingly..

1. How much finance we will need - Tution + Living Expenses
==> 62K Euros w/o scholarships living included...

2. I went through the scholarship page - Kindly tell me which alll scholarships we are eligible for
==>People usually get 10 to 35%. try everything under IMBA and for asian nationals

3. Are there any other external scholarships I can apply to apart from those offered by IE
==> Yes, but most are not worth it. My research was based on the scholarships options available from different B-schools. This gave me an idea of what outside scholarships i can opt for. so check sites of other schools as well....

4. How good are the placements at IE
==> Please read the posts..

5. How much time does the Visa Process take for Spain ?
==> according to the admissions office , takes around 3-4 months from Delhi (cause that's the only center and they are not well processed)

Hope this clarifies....

Arun,
I am not aware of how the exams are conducted in Mumbai. So for e.g. in the admission tests conducted in Madrid, the questions were similar to those of CAT and CET standards. You have viusal diagrams, you have to either find the perfect pairing or match the right one's. As youkeep solving teh questions the complexity increases accordingly. Then you have the DI section. Here, the questions are usually the excerpt of The Economist or the FT's. A true picture of the recession and current scenario, from which you have to calculate the statistics. If you can crack a CAT or be mentally prepared to give one...then this exam is a cake walk.

Then finally you have the personality tester. That you can fill out at ease with honesty ofcousrse...
