Scholarship decision isn't taken already. It will be take next months, from June and you'll be informed separately.

It isn't mandatory but I think that you'll have great benefit in learning it. Many Italians don't know English and you could have some problems in doing every day activities.

But can someone still answer my first question please?

I have money in my ICICI Bank a/c and the SDA Bocconi has given me an IBAN (International Banking Account Number). How do I transfer the 9K euros now???

If someone has already deposited his/her 1st installment then it vl be great if they could shed some light on this poor soul's dilemma..

Please do share your your profile & join the SDA group @ facbook.

I did a wire transfer using IDBI as I had my account with IDBI. Wire transfer can be done in less than 6 hrs (but chk with the bank). All I have to do was to ensure that I have the required amt in my bank & then go to IDBI Main branch & request them for a wire transfer. They made the transfer @ 11 AM in the morning & gave me the confirmation receipt at 5 PM.

If you would like to save a few bucks, then do compare / negotiate forex rates offered by other banks/reputed agencies.

I am neither an IT guy nor Indian. I'm from turkey and just found the forum.
I had my interview last week with an alumni, and waiting for the final decision.

Could admitted ones tell me how long I will wait for the decision?

Yes. I enquired with my bank here and they confirmed that they can do the wire transfer. In fact this is the only way to tranfer money interbationally..
