It has been ranked as the 5th best university in the world and I was looking for a brand which is well recognized world over. I didn't apply to Cass since it was not a good fit to my interests. Imperial-Tanaka has been ranked 6th in the world for Technology and 8th in the world for entrepreneurship. I'm sure Tanaka would be a great choice for someone like me who is from an IT background and wants to be in Tech. sector post MBA. I chose it over Lancaster and yet another non-UK admit. The Rajiv Gandhi scholarships being offered by the school worth 20000 pounds make the school all the more inviting
I've seen Imperial MBA alumni bagging amazing job profiles. However, I'm awaiting yet another result and shall take a final call only after that. But Imperial rocks big time any day

Hi,
By now, most of us should have decided on the bschool that we are heading to. Most of us, with multiple admits, might have opted a school.
Therefore, I would like to update the names database of students joining Tanaka Business School '08. So that we can get a decent idea of who is actually joining TBS. I request you to state your name, country/place, course etc.
Lemme start first.
If you want to add your details, just add them at the bottom of the latest list, copy the entire list and paste the list in your post.
Thanks

rao_sn | Hi,
There is no expected length but i you can keep in the range of 600 to 800 words. The following details must be covered.
1) Your reason for choosing the programme 2)Your current career thinking and objectives and describe how the programme will support these 3)Your mathematics education 4)Positions of responsibility you have held and how these have helped any subsequent endeavours 5)Achievements in your life of which you are most proud and what you have learned from these cya, Gaurav. | | | | | | | |

Hi friends,
I got an interview call from Tanaka Business School scheduled in 2nd week of July 2008. I would really appreciate if you could give me some guidelines on cracking the interview.
What is asked in interview, the duration and what is expected ?
Best regards,
Gaurav | | | | | | | |

Hey guys
I am relatively new to Pagal guy, may be I started to use this forum to mutually benefit with even the relatively small info the group has got.
Well, I am planning to app to Tanaka for 2009 intake, so may be much early. But I am currently choosing the univs. Got 680 in GMAT and 5 years of experience in Marketing field with international exposure. My queries is:
1. My interests are in strategic consulting. Is Tanaka a right choice?
If I dont end up in a consulting job, I prefer in marketing. Is UK right choice?
2. 2007 intake was only 47. Any idea on 2008 entry? Is this not too low compared to other schools like Cranfield and Lancaster?
3. I attended an one to one discussion in World MBA Tour at Mumbai (1st week of July) with the Principal from HR department, Imperial. The discussions went on well but is this kind of an informal interview ? She took a copy of my degree cert. She advised me to apply also.
Can this forum share your knowledge ?
Good Luck !
