What should I do? Should I upload 2 salary slips-one from the previous centre and one from the new one?

Thanks

I would recommend uploading 2 salary slips - one each from the two centres.

Cheers

I received an answer for my query from Admissions Committee on the other thread saying "please upload both the salary slips" .
I was wondering if i need to write the reason for uploading 2 salary slips in the optional essay or is it just fine ??

Any suggestions?

I don't think you need to explain your case in the optional essay. You would have filled in the required details in the Employment section and attached the salary slips as proof. That should suffice. The optional essay can be used for better purposes.

Hello Guys,

This is regarding Essay 2,
You are contesting the election to be the President of the ISB Student Body. Write a speech you will deliver to the student body on why they should elect you as the President? (300 words max)

My question is, while answering this essay what should be the objective in our minds

To actually impress fellow students at ISB, so that they should elect me as a President
OR
To use it as an opportunity to tell adcoms about my leadership skills and experience

I mean who is the audience of this essay… ISB students OR Adcoms
Because the answer will be different for both cases…
Case 1 : what I’ll do as a president
Case 2 : what I’ve done in past

Let me elaborate further,

If I’m admitted to ISB and actually contesting for the post, then in my speech I would not give too much details about my leadership skills and qualification to those 500+ equally smart (may be smarter than me) people.. Because I believe they all are equally capable of handling such a challenging post …. And ISB adcoms have already done a good job in evaluating that….. I’d focus more on what are my plans for the campus and its people …. And what “extra” I’ll do as a president, how I’ll manage my time in a very demanding environment … and stuff like that…
The problem with above approach is that it defeats the basic purpose of this essay where Adcoms want to know more about my leadership experience…. they'll still get to see a bit of creative side of me ... and my reasearch on ISB student body and its activities...

If the objective of this essay is to impress adcoms, then I’ll focus more on giving specific examples from my professional life where I have managed such roles. I’ll also focus on my qualifications that’ll make me a better President….
The problem with this one is that although I have written it as an essay for my selection in ISB, most probably I’ll not want to actually deliver this speech…. In case I do, I doubt I’ll be elected as a president….. Imagine a guy in ISB Soapbox who is only bragging about his positions as a class monitor in shool, a student council member in college and organizer of an event during his job….

Since we have a limit of only 300 words, I don’t think I can do justice with both the objectives.

My question is, which one should be preferred...

Ideally, the essay should be a good blend of both. The 300 word limit makes it harder for a person to choose one idea/accomplishment over the other.

So...choose intelligently...choose well.

Hello puys

My question is regarding hobbies section in the application. It asks for 3 hobbies and has 200 words limit for every hobbies. Do we only need to list the hobbies ? or Elaborate the hobby and write a small 100-150 words description of the hobby..? And what should be the content of hobbies description if the hobby is one of vey comman one like listening music, reading book.

I appreciate your response.
Deepak
