Hi Ashish,
I believe u already have the prep material for GMAT. If not, then I'd suggest Princeton (with 4 online mock tests). Another good one is Barron's. Also you can downld some free tests form mba.com
First take an Eval test (timed) to check where you are and how far you gotta go. Make sure you have a reasonable target. If you get a 45 on Q and 30 on V (which should count as 610), then concentrate on both. If you get something like Q - 48+ & V - 35+ (670+), then concentrate on V, at the same time making sure that you dont loose out on Q. Also check where you are making most of the mistakes and work on those areas.
After going thru the above, if you get the same scores on 3 consecutive tests, the possibility of going up is minimal. Then you train urselves on keeping it together on test day. How do u do that? Just take tests in the most disturbing situations. TV on, Kids crying, Heavy metal music, etc. Whatever $^&^( life can throw at you.
Sound like a GMAT trainer / consultant. Well, may be I shud try being one.
GMAT Total Score calc: (Scaled Q + Scaled V)*7.5 + 50 and round it.
