Thanks a ton Badri for replying....it rreally helps a lot.

But tell me if I am wrong.....do chances really go down significantly if one applies after round 1? Please clarify....

Somehow I feel that if chances do reduce drastically for a R2 applicant then much rather I'll continue in my present job and gun for a 2010 admit....by then I should have abt 4.5 yrs exp in Banking (Risk Mngt) and Mngt Consulting (M&A)..maybe with a good GMAT score I'll stand a better chance.

Once again need your take on this as you are the one who's been there done that....

Re: ISB 2009 Aspirants - 18-06-2008, 11:15 AM

Hi all...this is my first post.

Im applying to ISB in the first round. Giving g mat on 2nd sept. My profile is as follows:
B com - 70 %
M com - scores awaited
Work ex of 2 years (till date) in a leading advertising agency, will have 3 years work ex by the start of the programme.
A lot of extra curricular activities like debates, dramatics, adventure sports like rock climbing, etc. given intermediate and elementary exams of art also.

What do u think guys, does my profile live up to the isb expectations???
Wat kind of a g mat score would i need to get???
Also, it would be very nice if someone can share some essay samples or material/links to websites that can help me write essays for ISB.

Cheers,
Hardik

Change in application process - 18-06-2008, 05:02 PM

Guys,
got this in mail from ISB admission:

"We have made the following changes to the requirement of submission of documents as part of the online application for 2009-10.

Instead of uploading scanned mark sheets/certificates for academics or awards/activities or GMAT/TOEFL/IELTS as part of the application, you may now submit photocopies of the same at the time of interview, if short-listed.

Please write to PGPAdmissions@isb.edu , if you need any further clarifications."

Re: ISB 2009 Aspirants - 18-06-2008, 08:50 PM

hi PG's,
the query is about the recommendations when applying to ISB.
Is the last manager good enough to recommend?
or do we need to go back and get recommendations from all manager that we have worked with?
cheers
