Re: ISB 2009 Aspirants - 25-11-2008, 04:28 PM

Hello All,
Last weekend 4 of the ISB-10'ites from Hyderabad met. Most of us couldn't make it. I was wondering if we could have a bigger group meet this weekend. WaterFront on necklace road is a nice place and accessible to everyone. Send in your suggestions on Venue and time.

I have compiled a list of R1 admits from Hyderabad. Some from orkut and some from pagalguy. There might be a repetition. Please feel free to modify the list. And those whose names are missing in the list, please append the same.

1. Nitin Pulyani
2. vineet k dixit
3. Zorawar Singh
4. Saurabh Goyal
5. Ashu Sharma
6. Vinay
7. Ramchandra
8. Pranay Fotedar
9. Vivek Sharma

Pagalguy ids
1. sdhul
2. dewdrop
3. underdod_09
4. narnikhil
5. edison
6. vsriv
7. Prashant C
8. pcost

Please update at one place (say orkut). It would be easier to keep track and lets not spam pagalguy with the get together updates.

orkut -

Thanks
Vinay

Should we meet this weekend (11/29) somewhere at the centre of the city? Its not a bad idea to have this discussion on orkut. Please see this - orkut -. Haven't been added to the yahoo grp by its moderator yet.

===========URGENT==============

hey guys ,
I am an ISB R2 applicant. I have a question regarding the ISB online application.
The ISB application extracurricular activities and awards section, its mentioned that I can only put 50 characters per activity(which is like 5-6 words). But when I actually start putting in the stuff, it allows me to put several sentences. What did you guys do? Is it that ISB removed this condition?

Please advice on what you guys did.Especially the R1 admits.

Thanks for your help

You can enter multiple lines but I guess its not a bad idea to keep it short. 50 char doesn't apply, 50 words maybe.

Subhen,

You have a strong profile. Get your essays right and then your interview. We can then meet up at ISB in 2009.

ISB Rocks............

I entered multiple lines in this area as well as the hobbies area, however when I did a pdf preview of the application before submitting, I found that the words/chars beyond 50 were curtailed. So doing a preview is the best way to ensure that your para does not look incomplete with an abrupt ending.
