You are gonna have such a wonderful 1 year - do what you want to for an entire year. And then you know you get to go to one of the best Bschools in the world for sure!

Hey Vivek, Congrats on making it. I graduated in 2007 and I guess thats why got a deferral.
It indeed is a unique feeling. I'm one of the first 2 guys of the class of 2011 :P. Pioneer of sorts. I get to see people apply after me and get in before me, and probably help them in the process.
And hopefully the recession would have ended by the time I graduate.
The best thing about this is I'd be knowing so many of my "seniors" , as I've interacted with them through this thread, and will interact further. So I'm sure when their turn comes they'll give me all the help I'd require.
Indeed, I can live a relatively relaxed and secure life for an year. I'd also want to move in the direction of making myself more suited for the program in any way I can, be it changing my job, learning some skills, etc. Infact when you guys get there, you can advise me on what would be the most apt way to prepare myself for the grind.
Thanks a lot for your wishes again.
