Nice to know your passionate views . Please send us substantiating information against your claims at info at pagalguy dot com, otherwise your post will be deleted within 6 hours.

Till then Happy browsing at PaGaLGuY.com. Am kind of surprised why your location says NYC but our records track you somewhere in Ranchi.

BTW, anyone here knows about any research report which says IITians makes the best managers ? If you know, you know where to send it .

No more discussions regarding this here. Congratulations to all the people who have got admit, and those who didn't, you will find ways to achieve what you want in lif eby other means.

Cheers,
Rohit

My profile is : 710/ 6.0/ 4.5 years IT/ EC - good/ acads - good/ ISB Reapplicant (1st time not shortlisted for interview).

I had a stint of nearly 1.5 years in Europe on a solution consulting project.

I had my interview on 1st Nov and as usual it was very cordial.

Had 4 people on the panel - 3 alums and 1 adcom.

Questions were related to my teaching volunteer work, its model, its sutainence, etc.

Questions came from all alums.

Was asked to determine a target market for teaching kit.

Adcom asked about my experiences in Europe.

Asked about any questions.

Interview was about 20-25 minutes long.

Came out feeling good (like most of us here) and over the past few days was beginning to doubt if i would make it..

Today got the admit call from ISB.

R2 applicants can feel free to PM me on any questions/queries.

Congrats to all puys who made it and good luck to those who couldnt.

As someone said.. those who made it to the interview should be proud of themselves and not look at the ding as a parameter of their profile.

I will be filling chandu's spreadsheet just after this post.

Cheers all.
Enigmaz

Congrates!!!. I am running for R2.Provide tips for writing essays and completeing application.Provide DOs and DONTs for filling the form.

hmm. few comments
1)Stop being a cry baby.
2)If at all you are an IITian, then what can i say, there can be ocassional rotten apples in every lot. your views are not representative of my fellow IITians who have admits..
3)what abt IIMs or for that matter even Harvard or stanford. don't they have students from India who are actually are non-IITians..
4)Yes its true we cracked a tough entrance examination after class 12 and established our quantitative and analytical prowess ( and again it was an examination which can not claim to test your quant skills in a limited time window, there are a lot of other variables involved). But life is not only abt these skills. People need to learn a lot from each other. So its good to have diverse background..

Finally what can I say, dorks like you did not selected, bears testimony to the efficiency of the process...

My advise to you is not about best of luck for next year... My advice is, dude why dont you go and see a therapist before you apply, oH what the hell, before you actually start living again..
