I had a question here, do you think that it makes a big difference if you have a face to face interview? What are the potential pitfalls of a telephonic? Anything you feel I should take care of?

I think a face to face interview is definitely more preferable than a telephonic one. Having said that, I dont think that it was my interview which did me in last year, it probably was my GMAT score.
Obviously, not everyone can make it for a face to face interview. I would say, articulation is extremely important in a telephone interview. As they can't see you( body language, eye contact, etc.) and they can only hear you, you have to be extremely sure of what you are saying. Practice out your answers loudly(to standard questions like, why ISB, why MBA, why do you want to come back to India, etc) and write down points you can refer to during the interview. This is an advantage in a phone interview. You can even 'google' the word they ask you to speak on. As you may be aware, this is how the interview starts. Just be really confident, no 'ahs, and mmms..'
I also realised that I prepared a lot more for my phone interview than my face to face interview as there a many more unknowns in the former.
I hope this was helpful. All the best to you!! I'm sure you will be fine
Cheers.
