i never said that. you wanted me to write an essay here as well. u must be kidding. not 300 words but i will explain the flow to elicit comments from you.

joined BITS pilani for MTech and took up teaching assistantship. taught undergraduates for more than a year. found the master's curriculum not upto the mark. left the masters midway and took up HAL as engineer. close to a year later, they enforced employment bond. had to scout for a new job immediately. since than have been in Altair Engineering Inc. current profile is to develop software products that enable manufacturing companies simulate their process and optimize.

Professional achievements: one of the projects in Altair published in conference in Switzerland for user-friendly and intuitive GUI. this project also helped Altair to bag a new project from the same customer worth US$60000. worked as team member with other members spread across the globe.

In my personal opinion, it is not the actual answer itself but the thought process you adopt to arrive at the answer..

Like many other experienced app writers have said before, there is no right or wrong answer. Personally, I looked at one particular train of thought which i deemed was logical and convincing. fitted in a few adjectives and completed the 300 words which would reflect what we might have done in a similar ethical dilemma we may or may not have faced at work !

It is just my opinion, and of cos ti does not cost to think !

Just some wild thoughts...

May be you can write about how you would do it the second time.. given another opportunity...
My experience says.. second time is always much better than the first time..

On the other hand.. second time.. it is really boring...
As the saying goes "If you know how to do it, don't do it; give someone else an opportunity to learn."

Its true, ISB is a great upcoming Indian Institutuion. And far better than the govt run IIMs as far as being applicant friendly and fair. But since they have set their eyes to be a top global institute, they should not get carried away by the FT rank. The economist recently did its own survey and ISB didnt figure in the top 100. a couple of IIMs were there.
Ofcourse, like the FT rank, this rank doesnt mean much too.

Having personally visited ISB, attended classes there etc, it is definitely an Oasis in Indian Education. If I have to do my MBA in India it will definitely be from the ISB. However at the global level, there is still a lot of choices.

Take this survey that I made. The trends emerging are quite telling about the ISB interview process.

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=EonS_2fUN2_2bfn67AVxIOLSsA_3d_3d

Again - keep the frank opinions coming ! And too those of you sucking up to ISB on this forum - grow some balls.

Take the Survey at

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?s...VxIOLSsA_3d_3d

Mr corr_monk...we dont have to grow balls...we were born with them...quite literally...dont know bout you though

It is really funny that all these bunch of people keep posting their opinions bout the isb rank 20 issue...people who shout that...hey, kelloggs is behind isb in the rankings, the rankings r fake...well to all those who think that we r illetrates...specially "the bunch of ISB wannabes"....well thanks but no thanks...we know that there r flaws in the rankings...even we know that there is lot to be achieved for isb blah blah blah....it is not bout the rankings per se...it is the meticulous rise of isb...it is bout the fact that the education system is getting in line with the global system....so take a chill pill...

Nd buddy...no one here is trying to impress nyone here...it is a forum..nd we r just contributing...
Nd all the best wit ur global b school choices...i am sure..the way u sound, isb would be a safe option nd u will do a favor by taking admit here....all the best...

Plzz post the survey results for 2nd survey. It'll also be interesting to know names of all the companies ( from the 1st survey)

Any more surveys coming up ??
