Thanks in advance.

Nikhil, The R2 deadline is on 1st december and so appearing for GMAT in september is not a bad idea. Infact, R1 deadline is only on 15th of September and so if you plan to take GMAT early in september, you can apply even in R1, if you can mix your GMAT prep with your application preparation.

Dear Dev,
The application portal opens for registration on June 1st and you can see the essays for yourself. Generally the essays are about how an applicant can contribute to the class, strengths and weaknesses and the like.
My 2 cents: Please do a lot of introspection as to why you want to do a MBA and why you want to do it @ ISB and write your essays.

Hi Sabthagiri,
Thanks for your quick response. I remember you from last years ISB threads. Congratulations on making it in.
I am looking for a framework on which to build my essays (I dont blog or write about myself). Any advise about how I should go about it.
Another question, my recommenders are going to write the letters, what points do you think I should ask them to highlight. I know leadership is one such area (reading ISB's webpage), what specific areas in your opinion is ISB looking for.
I hope you are enjoying your time at ISB as all the hard work is finally paying off.
Thanks again,
Dev

I know that profile is the ultimate criteria for getting short listed for interviews..however I have heard that ISB generally short lists candidates with quite high (>740) GMAT score..m not talking of exceptional profiles here..
kindly comment
