Re: ISB 2009 Aspirants - 15-05-2008, 02:49 AM

Hi all,
Iam an engineering graduate having 5 years of experience. I decided to go for CAT this year (200. While preparing for that i heard about ISB and thinking about writing GMAT for ISB within 2-3 months. After that i have to try for CAT 2008.
My queries:
1. My First Priority is GMAT forISB (since iam having good academics and work exp.). Also ISB applications for 2009 due is Sept 2008. So i need to clear that.
2. Second try is for CAT 2008.
Cud any of u suggest about a combined approach for preparing CAT & GMAT?
Please suggest me the strategies to start with GMAT or CAT basics??

Thanks and regards
anna

Hi

I was applicant of year 2008-09. Typically Indian/IT/Male.

This was the feedback I got for my rejection

-------------------------

Dear XXXXX,

Thank you for requesting for a feedback on your application.

Your profile was fairly good. However, you failed to distinguish significantly from the highly competitive applicant pool.

We encourage you to re-apply for PGP 2009-10. However, concentrate more on your essays and stress more to differentiate yourselves from other applicants.

-------------------------

Hope this helps.
