I think there is an opportunity at ISB to streamline the whole procedure.

What you have missed out on is that the GSB (and other schools in the US) offer 2 year programs - which means students have time on their hands and they are a big part of the AdCom, at least in the initial screening stages (and administrative activities like collating shortlisting results).

Since international interviews start tomorrow, I am on the edge right now.
Would you be able to share some advise of what I should do and if all international calls have been sent out.

Hello everyone,
Here is the update for applications: There are application that are still being reviwed. All interview calls will be dispersed by Monday 3rd Nov. So if you haven't got a call or a rejection yet, keep your fingers crossed.
This applies for all applicants of Hyd., International and Bangalore. Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata applications are already over. So if you are from Delhi or Mumbai or Kolkata and havent got a call for interview, then im sorry to say, this year is not your year for ISB.

This is not what I had in mind.. But then, it's not as worse as I thought it would be..

Ok, here's the tip on dresscode:
Men- Business Suit with tie will always help ur image. without jacket is not bad either, if its too hot. Carrying the jacket in ur hand doesnt look bad, if u dont want to wear it. But wearing it for an half hour/ one hour interview wont kill u.. Please dont turn up in jeans and Tshirt ( for those of u are wondering- yes someone did turnup in that yesterday).. Business Formals is the way to go
Women- U have a wide range of choices in business formals now- be it skirts and blouse, or pants and blouse with/without jacket or salwar suit or sarees.. As long as its formal ( see i use the word formal and not business formal), its fine. as long as u r not flashy with the colours and again as long as u dont turn up in jeans with a sweat jacket with hood ( once again- yes someone did that), its fine.
Last Word: dont get too worked up about ur dress.. Ur dress is a nonshow as long as u dont wear something in ur face out of place..!!!! wear normal business formal or if u r not comfortable business casuals- friday wear. A bad dress will put a dent in ur interview, a normal dress will make no effect but a good dress always helps ur case. Remeber- its all about impression management. dress also makes an impression.
