you can try Train also... I didn't get train ticket because my IV is on the post-diwali weekend.. so trians are full.. but if you get a call for 8-9 weekend.. you will get a train.. (I checked) both for going and coming back...

My friend's family runs a guest house that is about 7 kms from ISB. They charge Rs. 1500/- per day, AFAIR. If you (and others traveling to Hyd) pm me the details of ur stay and your contact numbers then I can find out the feasibility of providing accommodation at the guest house.

So I assume you assist companies in scaling up, identifying M&A targets etc. Which firm do you work for. So do you do work related to business plans or valuations etc.
Yes i am into strategic consulting but self employed have my own firm and I am the only member there I assist startups in scaling up and turning around their operations.
Which batch on IITM are you from and wat about ur CG and all. I am from batch on 2004 in IIT Kgp.

Firstly i would like to thank everyone for the experiences they have shared.
I had my interview on Wednesday...Delhi...Sheraton...panel 3

Experience:Telecom,R&D,33 months by the time i join(if i join)

I enter....

q)tell us about an experience u have had where u have performed well and beaten ur competitiors...
dint go well...they wanted a work-ex example
q)leadership experience
went ok
q)post isb)
went well.....they said impressive

After this the panel said that u look like a pretty focused guy...tell us about ur leisure activities.

talked about tt ad making chocolates etc..
discussion on chocos...

then case study....
There was a painting on the wall ...They told me to find the market size....
Started off...went on for around 5 mins after which the lady stopped me to point out that one of my estimations was too high....But Prof.Menon said its fine....the thought process is good...so that ended the case study discussion.

I think the good part of the interview was that the panel is v friendly....they take out the best in you...

I am worried about my first question...maybe they will think not enough quality work ex....
Also they asked me wt if isb cannot place u in a telecom company post isb(had mentioned it)...dunno wt to make of that...wt if they think they really cannot..i guess that jepordizes my chances a bit...
Also asked me what other plans if no isb...
