I guess I join the club too for the ISB i/v in Delhi..Mine is on the 16th at 2pm.. All you guys with your GMAT score's put me to shame... I have a 650 GMAT with a total work ex of 44 months with average academics...Someone help me out as I have no clue about what the i/v is gonna be like...my academic background is an CS engg degree from Drexel University in the US and abt 17 months of work exp there and the rest with Dell India...I'm just lost about the interview thing....Here's shout out for heeellllppppppppp..................

Hey guys,

Have all Delhi people received i/v calls, and what should be the status on the application for people who have been rejected already.

Mine still shows "Completed" , no interview call and certainly no "Rejected" so far. What should i assume?

My profile,

GMAT 710 (47 Maths (this will kill me), 40 Verbal, 5.5 AWA)
Ugrad : ECE B.tech NIT Jaipur, 68% (Average acads)
Extracurrics: Decent in sports(was sports captain), and company representation + CSR activities
Work Exp: 5+ years (8 months outside of india, working in auto embedded sector, and have worked with energy metering companies as well...i wont call myself a total IT person, though i have been working with Services companies (not to mention been on bench for the last 8 months))

I was hoping that this will be good enough to warrant an interview call atleast...just hope that i dont end up making numbers.

Hi Everyone...I m in too for Delhi iv...Can some one tel me...they have asked to mail the Certificates and Transcripts before...you know what, these guys make silly mistakes...the email says that mail you certificates before Monday, October-7. Now Monday is Oct-6, is it Monday or Oct-7....anyways...digressing as alwas...

Can someone tell me do we need to mail them only Acad certificates or Extra currclar also...
actually i put something in application, and found out then that I have lost a certificate....or is this a sin, for which i will be shot :2gunfire:

Hi guys, this is Arun here. Very new to Pagalguy.com. I've also got a call from ISB n that's scheduled on 16th Oct, 3:20 pm. My GMAT score is 740/ CGPA 8.95 (0n 10 point scale) / +2 marks 83% / Nice extra-curriculars esp in music and technical events / 32 months work-ex in manufacturing.
I don't know what are my chances to clear the i/v but I really wanna have guidance from u all.

Secondly, please let me know that do Transcripts include only marksheets or are we supposed to send the certificates of extra-curricular activities also?

If you open ur application page u see a link- certificates recieved by ISB.
I pointer would be too send all those certificates which have been listed thr and apply to you. E/g i am a btech so i uploaded 10th, 12th, Btech marksheet, btech degree certi, award certi 1,2,3 (top 3).

Though there is no clarity i believe this shud be fine.

Anyways as listed in the application guildlines only international applicants were to mail- rest had to submit it on the day of the I/V. Its now changed

Lets clarify this.

Hi Mayank,
They are calling you 15 min before the schedule for another assesment. They will ask you to write a short passage on a word. They will give the word on the spot. Word would be general, like leadership, friends, success, goals etc.. and even if in extream case you cannot understand the meaning of the word then, 1. you can get another word OR 2. see the meaning of the word in the Internet(there must be a room with computer and net). The people taking the i/v WILL NOT give this word, but when the person before you would be in inside giving his/her i/v, that time hotel folks sitting in the waiting lounge will give you the word.

Trust me, this is the easiest part of the ISB selection process...
