Hello all, I didn't get pre-selected either, got the email on friday. Very dissapointed since HEC was one of my top choices, and am not really sure where things have gone wrong.

I'll tell you what has happened... they already have admitted a lot of Indian students and are looking for a good diversity.... and so they are looking at very niche profiles now... best wishes for ur other calls.

Same is the case with me :(
HEC was one of my top choices. Dont know what went wrong, absolutely no clue... I have very strong EC, good work profile, 750 GMAT score and more importantly, I had prepared a very strong application (got it checked by lot of people).

Does HEC give a feedback? or reasons for the ding?

I've asked them for a feedback as am curious to know where I went wrong, or messed things up. But, am not sure if they'll be giving a feedback now, if at all they do give one.

Just a general query. Am just comparing the IE and the HEC MBA. A lot of stellar profiles seem to have gotten rejects from HEC. Just wondering whether you guys have applied to IE and whats the status there. An if you havent, I presume you have specific information about IE for not doing so. Would be great if you could share your thoughts with us.
