Gals and Guys,
In the etheryl login, I do not see any Scholarship essays. Except COTY, for all other scholarships, essentially you just need to fill out some basic information and click submit. Is it really that simple? Am I missing something?

Rahul: Being a current student, you may have some insights.

Congratulations to Everybody ...

My happyness did not last a long time after the acceptation since I am very concerned about the payment deadlines ... Did anyone receive such an email from HEC???

".....
I remind you that your deadline to confirm your enrollment and pay the
non-refundable deposit of 6000 Euros and the first payment of 11604
is December 15th. To do so, you will find attached the different methods
of payment.
......."

The was expecting the 11604 that quickly ... how are you going to finance those expenses?

i think there is some misunderstanding - you need to pay 6K euros within a month to confirm your admission and 11604 euros by Dec NEXT YEAR after you join. This is how it was for our batch and I don't see any reason for that to change

Congratulations and some advise - 30-11-2008, 03:55 PM

Congratulations to all of you who have received their admission offers.

I am sure all of you are excited about joining HEC and I want to give an important piece of advise here. It has been rightly mentioned earlier about the importance of knowing another language in Europe. This is more relevant if are you coming to France and joining HEC. If you decide to accept the HEC admission offer, I would strongly urge you to spend the next 10 months to learn and improve your French (especially if you want to work in consulting/marketing/sales). This country conducts its business in French and your command over the language would be of immense help if you intend to work in France.

The first thing you can do is write to the school asking about the deadline for Eiffel scholarship. This scholarship (worth appx 15-20K euros) is provided by a French body and will easily take care of all your living expenses.
From scholarships given by HEC, I have seen most people getting merit-based scholarships. The amount granted will mostly depend on how strong your candidature is.

For you in particular, I know girl(s) getting Forte Scholarship and L'oreal Scholarship. So these are some scholarships you can definitely target.

There are some other scholarships provided by French govt bodies. You should be able to find details on the internet -

Good Luck
