The school is bloody expensive and does not have much endowments at the moment either, so i will have to stretch my family savings and also take a loan with a US co-signer. yet to finalize the whole thing though

how did you know of the univ result? online or through an email? and how many days one gets to accept if the offer is made? did pay any deposit/acceptance fee? how much was it?

i got an email from lindsey waldrop (the lady who interviewed me) on jan 25 and i received the official package a few days after that. the status on the application was updated a good 3 weeks after that.

the deposit fee of $1,000 has to be paid by 15th apr.

I got my admission packet after that, guess over the following weekend, since then there has been regular communication with the univ thru email

not too sure abt the R2 dates

yes, i have accepted the offer, sent in my cheque as well. will be taking a loan with a US co-signer

I will be honest. Georgetown is reputed for it's law school and not for its mba program.

Compared to the ivy leagues and even schools like duke, carnegie mellon, usc etc..
georgetown pales in comparison.

the school tries to play up the location and prestige. but from a recruiting standpoint.

georgetown is considered.. so far as a fluff program with few winners and majority average students.

also keep in mind.. the school has a jesuit culture and limited indian students.. undergrad and grad..

its so so.. it might be ranked in top 25.. but if you get in somewhere else..
