I have an Interview call from Olin B School. The Ad Com would be interviewing me in New Delhi on 19th Jan. So all those who have Interviews, Admits, and interest in the School please share your views and experiences.

GMAT : 700 (4.5)
TOEFL : 108
WE : 5 Yrs as Marine Engineer (loads of International Exposure)
Acads : V. Good
E Curricular : Good

Hi Venom!!
I have also applied in the nov 5th deadline and got this interview call after such a long time. Previously I thought I have been dinged!
I would be interviewing with Susann C. Allison, International Admissions Advisor at New Delhi. I would advice you to email them regarding your application status.

I had applied for the Nov 5th deadline as well, but no calls for interview yet. I asked the ad com members and they replied back saying that they will contact me if an interview is required.

I had applied for UNC 1st round as well but got dinged.

I don't have any high hopes for Olin as well because of my poor GMAT score.

may be u r a postive omen for me!!!

Ya, even i wud be interviewing with Susan, but i am yet to choose the date and location.
I am from Hyderabad and Susan has given me the choice between Mum/De//bang.
I am leaning towards Bang, if so, shall interview on 16th or 17th.

I've spoken to Evan and Stephanie from the admissions team.
They have informed me that results wil be declared by the 25th of this month!
I hope both of us get thru,,,,

Hello guys...

I am an applicant to R1 for Olin. I had a question for you guys?
Is it true that Olin sometimes offer admission WITHOUT INTERVIEW.???
I called the office and they said that interviews are by invite only and if the adcom doesn't have any question in students file, then they do not conduct interview for that candidate..

For me.. No interview it seems i am more closer to a ding rather than a admit?? I feel.. Thats my thought??

anybody knows more about this..

I guess Purdue is also one more school that offers admission without an interview? Then how is that true?

Please shed some more light.. I already have 2 dings and 1 waitlist and no admits..So life is scary..

I am in the same dilemma....but I know for 99% that its a ding because my GMAT is 670. Wishing you all the best!
