Hi HSR.........Got through... you predicted this..thanks for all the feedback and support for my complicated queries........now what should i do IMI or IIM....I have no idea about placements IMI thr is a guarantee IIM dont know.. apprehensions about the structure also.... Also if IIM does provide any assistance what is the potential of getting placed in NCR (my family is well settled here I wont go outside NCR family commitments...) IMI ..most likely to get placed here in Delhi....I can compromise on other things substantially if IIM offers placement (specially in NCR..)...Further If i want to search on my own say in Delhi wat would be the industry feedback...companies would be interested in hiring me or not?? rest fine .......plz guide further....regards

Even if OBC quota gets implemented it will not effect 47 general seats. Max of 4-5 seats will be created for OBC. If they find such candidates they will go to them, else they may also go to general candidates.

For 60 seats around 181 candidates were called for interview. The ratio is 1:3.

convey what are the chances of getting offer for waitlisted persons.
how many of the candidates out of 181 are under waitlist.

Difficult to answer . I really do not know how many they have put on waitlist and they would not tell this to anyone. Have they given u any number like you are WL 2 or WL 20 ?

Whatever ,considering the fact that there are 60 seats the number of WL should not be more than 10 or max 15. Now converting depends upon how many selected candidates do not join. No guesses on that, but historically @ 5-10 people are there who do not join the course.In my batch there were 2 candidates who did not join even after accepting the offer and depositing the fees. So there is always a high chance of conversion.
Keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best!

Last batch had 35 students and only 25 were available for the placements. All of them have been placed well. Its more than 100 %. Typical companies that came to the campus were:Accenture Consulting, Mindtree Consulting, DLF, Reliance , Reliance (Anil ), Headstrong Corp, IDBI Bank. Currently I am awaiting the final stats from their placement team. The average salary should be @ 18-20 LPA ( I will confirm once I get the complete details, their placement is still on..) Most of the recruitment have been in general managment functions irrespective of the students background.
