Hi everyone,
I wanna know are CAT%ile and SPJAT only scores they accept for admission or they also consider GMAT scores.
I have a valid GMAT score would like to know if I can apply on basis of it.

checked out the admissions link to the GMBA for SPJAIN Dubai/singapore however the page is not getting deiplayed .Looks like we can have an update on the exact process for june very soon .Lets keep contributing here till then and :lookroun:

They do consider the GMAT score .. as i have already got the admission on the GMAT basis .

Hello junta,

I took my GMAT yesterday and got a 710. Now i'm looking for prospective schools to apply. Infact till now, i've prepared for indian entrance examz only, like cat etc.. and took gmat just to explore that option. But now the opportunities seem to be real good with colleges like spjain dubai/spore.

My profile:
10th: 82
12th: 91.3
BE in electroncs: 74.5

Working for tcs( got thru campus placements..) work ex till date is about 14 months ... will be around 1.5 years till may next year..

Do let me know if i'm eligible for admissions 2008 batch and if the admissions are stil open. Also if my profile matches, then what is the application procedure.

ps: i have not got thru the entire thread. so do consider this fact and anser the query.

You seem to have a very nice Profile with a strong GMAT, so that goes in your favour.

Congrats on receiving the offer from SP Jain. It would be very helpful if you could post your profile on this thread.

I too, am an aspirant and I intend to apply for the June intake in a day or two. I have a few queries and I request you to reply to the same at the earliest.

Primarily, I would like you to evaluate my chances. Here's my profile.

X Board: 73%
XII Board: 74%
B.E.: 74%
GMAT: 710 [Q:47 V:40] / AWA 5.0
Work Experience: 2 Years in the IT industry with a pretty good work profile and achievements.

Secondly, I understand that SP Jain gives a good amount of weightage to relevant work experience. Considering the fact that I am an IT professional intending to pursue a career in financial consulting, how do you see my chances of getting selected for Investment Banking. Further, what are chances of the institute offering me other specialisations.

Thirdly, I do not see any requirement of recommendation letters in the admission process. As far as my knowledge goes, SP Jain had asked for the same last year. Could you clarify my doubt on this.

Hey Sunil

Your profile looks good and with a strong GMAT you stand a decent chance for getting a GD/PI call.

Regarding getting an admit for IB, Its difficult for any one to predict as that would depend on the knowledge you have about the Specz you applying. Strong acads and Good GMAT will take you till GD/PI but to sail through in PI , it soley depends on Yor knowledge about the field you applying , your convincing skills, clarity of your Goal etc.

Just have a look at first page of this thread , i have given my perspective. I am sure that will answer your query. However if you still have anything specific to ask, plz feel free to ask it here.

P.S: Reco letters were asked last time , I mean for Jan session. I am not sure if they have scrapped it this time. You can perhaps ask this query to the Rutty who is running an official Query thread on PG
