what is the nature of intrvw for SMM?

im a mechanical engineer with 45 months work ex in manufacturing (automobile comp).
what kinda intrvw can i expect???

Hi Himanshu,

Your Profile should fit in , but given the level of competition and your past experience you might be offered some other profile (PMM, ITM , anything), of course this is just my thought.

Thought of sharing my 2 cents with you before i took a break from PG.

Your profile looks good , just that you should have a decent reason for your decision to choose SMM. A logical justification and a cool head along with your profile can land you an admit at SPJ.

I am a bit surprised to see you ask this . I dont know if you have already browsed through the SPJCM website or not but i would i would definitely advice you to do that.

There are several companies like Microsoft , Barclays , Cognizant , TCS, Citibank , Ernt & Young, KPMG etc. which recruit from SPJCM and i am sure they consider the students to be an MBA, so i dont know where is the question of recognition.

Yes, for PhD there may be certain criterias which need to be fulfilled and these are specific to the Universities, so i cannot comment on that.

If i were you , i would goto SPJCM and SIIB website and look at the following:

>Avg Batch Work Ex
>Avg Salaries
>Fees

and then consider my 35 months of experience and weigh it against all these factors and take a call.

It totally depends on you, so you decide what you want from an MBA ....

well i recieved call for evaluation mail today, which said i have to deposit evaluation fee by 3rd april & can schedule my interview on 5 or 7th of april,

i applied for logistics & supply chain management.

people who have already been thru or who have been to gdpi please come up with suggestions
