I am interviewing with the assistant director of admissions - Tim Hossain.

Had your interviewer gone through your whole app (essays, recos .. ) ? Or was it just a fly-by resume interview ?

Also, in your experience of applying to B-schools. How important do you think undergrad gpa is (mine is pretty bad) .. I have good work-ex (international also) and also great reco from one of my US client.

I have applied to Georgia Tech, Illinois and BU ... what about you ? Are you waiting on some other college ? Or are you accepting the UW offer ?

My interviewer had gone through the application...so there was no need to discuss the resume or essays or anything..

I am planning to accept the UW offer! (Have also received some scholarship)

About the weightage, I guess everything is equally important...GMAT, GPA, workex, application and interview...u have a pretty good chance considering ur GMAT score and international workex...Best luck!

I did, but it was quite brief and I am pretty sure they would not remember me. I also visited UW campus when I was deputed as an onsite manager in NY ... but could not meet anybody as it was a weekend.

UW is one of my top choice, I just hope I can whip out a miracle

I have received a 50% tuition for first year as scholarship...

bn workin for a bit over 5 years in marketing & operations, GMAT 680, TOEFL IBT 113, Graduation - BMS (its called BBM down south) with realy aveage acads... thats about it i guess
Planning to pursue a combination of consulting & SCM

I think that is quite a diverse profile ..

Just got done with the interview ... It was going pretty well, when I mentioned the word "Illinois" out of nowhere !! I don't know why I did that (maybe because I got an admit from there today) ..

Do you guys think the interviewer will let it go ? Or hold it against me ?

Interview questions :

1. Why MBA ? Why Now ? Why UW
2. Challenges faced
3. What is your leadership style ?
4. How would your team-mates describe you ?
5. Where do you want to work after MBA ?

It lasted for about 30-35 minutes ... apart from the 'Illinois blunder' I think I did OK .. He said that the results would be out by March 30.
