Interesting isn't it? Uptil last year, attending the interview on Campus meant you are 80% in ..

I guess the adcom learned the lesson from the previous year, where there was a huge unexpected spike in the offer acceptance rate.

Good luck.

here are some interesting numbers...

1. on Monday 2 June they already had 130 confirmed students, AND they were waiting for an answer of 35 more students from R3

2. 24 were invited for R4

3. they are trying to keep a class around 150 students next year

do the math...

That's interesting, because seems that all 24 of 2nd june were taken. So they have already about 170 students.....
Means no hope for others.....

They are constructing a new lecture theatre and preparing additional infrastructure for the incoming batch.. I doubt that they would do it for150 students as they are already equipped for this number... Most likely, they are looking to increase the number of the students ... A

A guess given your numbers - Around 180..

Hopefully there are still some places. I am concerned because as far as I still have to do a telephone interview and looking at the current figures, the situation seems hopeless....

Re: Cambridge(2008) Interviews and Beyond - 07-06-2008, 01:00 PM

I was one of them on the June 2nd. My feeling was, about half of them are applying Insead or/and IMD, and if they do, almost all of them admitted they will go to Insead (fair enough, personally).

I couldn't talk to all 24, but did talk to majority of them. And I do believe they seemed competitive enough for Insead, too.

If that happens, the Adcom might extend offer to w-listed people, or the class size would be smaller (which I personally prefer)
